For many years ‘Internet Explorer’ was the most used browser, but as per NetMarketShare Google Chrome has over taken IE in the first week of May 2016. NetMarkerShare reports that Google Chrome has 41.7 percent of desktop browser compared to 41.4 share for IE.
In the early days, We had only two browsers namely ‘Internet Explorer’ and ‘Netscape Navigator’ thus not much of competition. Once the number of internet users raised, the number of browsers also raised. Microsoft, Google, Mozilla and Opera released their own browsers and each browser has its own ups and downs. As discussed already IE was the leader for many years and let us see what made Google Chrome as the most used Web Browser.
Boot time seems to be one of the primary reason why people prefer Google Chrome as they don’t want sluggish web browser. Some people say Google Chrome is designed beautifully that it looks elegant and it has only what is required. The Omnibox feature in Google chrome adds one more feather to its cap. Using Chrome you can link your Google account across browsing sessions and also across Google-linked websites. Internet Explorer has the worst security compared to all other browsers and Chrome is considered most secured Browser.
