How to send money as attachment in Gmail

Google has introduced a new feature in its ‘Android version of Gmail’ through which any one can Send Money to their friends, relatives. The feature of sending money via Gmail App is available only for android users and it is expected that iOS users will get it soon. It is to be noted that the feature is available only in USA.
Google as usual, with User experience in mind, has developed the process of sending money as easy as attaching a document. To transfer money through Gmail Android App, user has to tap the ‘Attachment’ button and then click on the ‘Send Money’ option. User has to check for availability of fund in their Google Wallet before transferring fund using Gmail. Refilling Google Wallet using debit / credit card is very easy.

You don’t have to install any other app like Google Wallet as the whole process takes place in Gmail app. There are no additional charges to use this service. The amount will be credited in recipient’s Bank account if it is already configured. When composing a mail, till now we are writing ‘please find attached file’ in future we would write ‘please find attached cash’. Thanks Google for making the process of sending money an easy task like sending a mail.
Google integrated its E-wallet service ‘Google Wallet’ into Gmail web in the year 2015, since then Gmail users in US & UK is using this service. To transfer money through Gmail web, Click on the $ icon located next to the compose button and you can transfer money. Using both Web and App, you can send money to any email address not only Gmail address.

How to Send Money through Gmail on Web
Open Gmail.
Click the Compose button.
Enter the email address of the person you want to send money to.
Add a subject and message text (optional).
Click the $ icon (£ for UK users).
Enter the amount you want to send and choose a payment method or add a new one.
Click Review.
Click Attach.
Look over your message one more time and click Send.

How to Receive an email with money attached on Gmail Web
The first time you receive money through Gmail, you’ll need to add a debit card to transfer the money to. Whenever someone sends you money through Gmail, it will automatically transfer to that card.
How to claim money sent to you through Gmail on Web for the first time:
Open Gmail.
Open the message with attached money.
Click Claim money.

How to Request money from someone on Gmail Web
Open Gmail.
Click the Compose button.
Enter the email address of the person you want to send money to.
Add a subject and message text (optional).
Click the $ icon (£ for UK users).
Click Request at the top of the box, and enter the amount you’d like to request.
Click Review.
Click Attach.
Look over your message one more time and click Send.

In the bottom right corner of the screen, tap Compose.
In the top right, tap Attachand then Send money.
Enter the amount you want to send and choose a payment method.
Tap Continue.
Add a memo (optional).
Tap Attach money.
To send the email, tap Send.
If you need more time to write your email, you can save it as a draft and send it later.
