Snap deal has started a new feature which delivers Rs.2000 cash to your Home

SnapDeal Delivers Rs2000 at DoorStep
Are you still standing in a long Que in front of Banks or ATMS to withdraw you Rs.2000 ? Snapdeal will deliver the cash at your home and you don’t have to stand in the long Que. The Indian ecom website has announced a new service called ‘Cash@Home’ which will allow its customers to order cash and have it delivered at their door step.

Procedure to get Rs.2000 from Snapdeal
At the time of booking the service, Snapdeal will charge Re 1 as ‘convenience fee’ that can be paid through FreeCharge or debit card. On booking, the next day, Snapdeal courier partner will reach your home with ATM PoS machine. The consumer will need to swipe their ATM card and once the transaction is successful, you will be handed over Rs.2000 cash. As per the press release by Snapdeal, the consumer can swipe any ATM card and can request only Rs.2,000 per booking. And most important is that the consumer don’t have to buy any product from Snapdeal as the new service is being carried our as a goodwill gesture to users allowing for easier access to cash without the hassle of queuing up at banks or ATMs.

Timely initiative
Rohit Bansal, Co-founder of Snapdeal said “At Snapdeal, we aim to be the marketplace that seamlessly services every customer need. As the country transitions to a more digitally enabled economy, we’ve launched a series of timely initiatives – from wallet and card on delivery, to extending FreeCharge partnerships to smoothen this transition. The launch of the cash on demand service is intended to further help our consumers tide over any cash crunch that they might face in addressing their daily needs.”

From where Snapdeal is getting money ?
The company says that it will be using the cash that it receives through Cash on Delivery (CoD) service to operate this prestigious service. The cash will be delivered one day after requesting the service. The ‘Cash@Home’ service by snapdeal is already live in Gurgaon and Bangalore and it is expected to be extended to other major cities soon.
