South Korean web hosting company has paid $1 million to Ransomware Hackers

A South Korean Web hosting company has recently agreed to pay $1 million to Ransomware Hackers, as their 153 Linux Servers were hacked. The South Korean Web hosting company in its blog mentioned that the initial ransom demanded was (550 bitcoins) around $1.62 million and after negotiation, hacker agreed for (397.6 bitcoins)  $1 million. It is understood that the Nayana web servers were hacked on Jun 10th and the ransomware used in the attack was Erebus.
